accounting if you're extremely short on the dosh. actuarial science if you wanna go further, but comes at a price. i honestly believe you should go for the act sci :) the money put in is a good investment. dont scrimp on your education. 4 years and you're done, my friend.
accounting is like a fallback option, something the less-smarter people do. come on man, dont sell yourself short and be one of the masses when you know you can be so much more.

pinkpau: but you see the only way for me to actually pursue act sci is if i manage to get a scholarship which the possibility is low as my interview skills sux.

exactly aira. PLLZZZZ go for act sci. that's more you, don't take accounting.
everyone can do accounting, normal art class people can. *note: im not saying that art class ppl are low* but it just doesnt sut you aira. ;)
so go get scholarship .. :) there's so many open for you. petronas, bank neg, jpa, star edu fund and of course the institutional scholarships.
interviews are easy peasy. they ask the most generic questions, from what i hear
